What Should I Expect?

Impressions are made so that your dental restoration, like a dental crown, can be custom made. When your restoration is ready, the fit will be checked, any needed adjustments will be made, and it will be attached to the abutment.

How Should I Care for My New Implant?
It may come as a surprise to you that dental implants don’t require any special care. Simply practice proper dental hygiene and schedule regular dental appointments. Brush your teeth twice a day, floss once a day, and visit Cannon Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at least twice a year for routine dental cleanings and exams. If cared for well, dental implants can last for many years, or even a lifetime.
